All Sales Are Final
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all BidZombie Auction and Buy Now sales are final.
BidZombie does not accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds because a buyer changes their mind, no longer wants the item, purchased the wrong item, misjudged size or suitability, or failed to review the listing before bidding or purchasing.
Auction Bids Are Binding
All auction bids are binding.
Once a bid has been submitted, it cannot be canceled, withdrawn, or retracted simply because the bidder made a mistake, changed their mind, or later decided they did not want the item.
By placing a bid, the bidder agrees to complete the purchase if they are the winning bidder.
As-Is, Where-Is
Unless a listing specifically states otherwise, all items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with their existing faults, wear, imperfections, and characteristics.
Many BidZombie items are storage-unit finds, estate finds, vintage items, used goods, resale inventory, or other secondhand merchandise.
Buyers are responsible for reviewing all photographs, descriptions, measurements, condition notes, shipping information, and pickup requirements before bidding or purchasing.
No Warranty
Unless expressly stated in the individual listing, BidZombie does not provide warranties or guarantees regarding an item’s condition, age, authenticity, completeness, functionality, fitness for a particular purpose, or future performance.
Descriptions and photographs are provided in good faith and are intended to help buyers evaluate items before purchase.
Material Misrepresentation
BidZombie will review a claim when a buyer believes an item was materially different from what was represented in the listing.
A material misrepresentation means a significant difference that would reasonably affect the nature or value of the item and that was not disclosed or reasonably visible in the listing photographs or description.
Examples may include receiving the wrong item or a significant undisclosed defect that directly contradicts the listing.
Minor differences, normal wear, cosmetic imperfections, color differences caused by screens or lighting, or conditions visible or disclosed in the listing are not considered material misrepresentation.
Reporting a Problem With a Shipped Item
A buyer who believes a shipped item was materially misrepresented or damaged during shipment should contact BidZombie within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.
The buyer may be asked to provide:
- the order number;
- photographs of the item;
- photographs of the shipping packaging;
- photographs of any damage;
- a description of the issue; and
- any other information reasonably needed to review the claim.
Buyers should retain the item and all original packaging until BidZombie provides further instructions.
Shipping Damage
Damage caused during shipment will be handled separately from ordinary returns.
Depending on the circumstances, BidZombie may assist with a carrier insurance claim, provide instructions for returning the item, issue an appropriate refund, or offer another resolution.
Buyers must cooperate with reasonable requests for photographs, packaging, or other documentation needed for a carrier claim.
Local Pickup Items
Local Pickup items must be inspected before leaving the pickup location.
The buyer or authorized pickup person will be required to sign the invoice or pickup receipt acknowledging receipt and acceptance of the item.
Visible condition issues, missing components, or incorrect items should be reported before the buyer leaves the pickup location.
Once the buyer or authorized representative has inspected, signed for, and removed the item, the sale is considered complete, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Missed Pickup and Forfeited Items
Items that are not picked up within the timeframe established in the BidZombie Shipping, Pickup & Auction Payment Policy may be considered forfeited.
No refund will be issued for an item forfeited because the buyer failed to complete pickup within the required period, except where required by applicable law.
Issues Already Disclosed
BidZombie will not issue a refund or accept a return based on a condition that:
- was disclosed in the listing;
- was reasonably visible in the photographs;
- was consistent with the age or used condition of the item;
- involved ordinary wear and tear; or
- resulted from the buyer’s handling, transportation, installation, use, or modification of the item.
Buyer’s Remorse
Buyer’s remorse is not grounds for cancellation, return, or refund.
This includes situations where the buyer:
- changes their mind;
- finds the item elsewhere for a lower price;
- discovers the item does not fit their space;
- decides the item is too large or heavy;
- fails to arrange transportation or pickup; or
- fails to read the complete listing before purchasing or bidding.
Return Authorization
If BidZombie determines that a return is appropriate, the buyer must receive authorization and instructions from BidZombie before returning the item.
Items returned without authorization may not be accepted.
If a return is authorized, BidZombie will specify how the item must be returned and whether return shipping will be provided or reimbursed.
Refund Method
When BidZombie approves a refund, it will generally be issued to the original payment method, unless another method is required or agreed upon.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment processor or financial institution.
Abuse of the Returns or Claims Process
BidZombie reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to restrict purchasing or bidding privileges for customers who engage in fraudulent claims, repeated unjustified disputes, payment reversals, abuse of the claims process, or other conduct that threatens the integrity of the marketplace.
Our Right to Resolve Exceptional Situations
BidZombie may, at its discretion and where permitted by law, offer a refund, partial refund, replacement, credit, or other resolution in an exceptional circumstance.
Providing an exception in one situation does not change this policy or create an obligation to provide the same exception in another situation.
Applicable Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to eliminate or limit rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection laws.
